Fun with Embroidery - you should join our Facebook Group!

If you have a PE800 Embroidery Machine, by all means, join us! - https://www.facebook.com/groups/PE800/

I got this as a set of wonderful presents for Christmas.  I had an embroidery machine but it was well loved and needed a professional to overhaul it to bring it back to life.  My stepdaughter gladly took it and all my PES cards off my hands.  My husband, in its place, gave me a PES 800 and a Singer Quantum Stylist 9980 and I've been in hog heaven just experimenting and making people happy with my creations.

I've sold a lot of my tote bags on my site kastlekreations.net and I have some people who are modeling them and making sales for me, this has been great.

Here are some of the cute ones. I use embroiderydesign.com for my designs...
I made a pair of diaper bags with little turquoise dragons on the material.  the lining is teal velour and it is padded with industrial 1/2" padding.  The bottom has black microfiber to protect it and have a longer life .  Most of my zippers are the bling zippers - they are more expensive but add an elegant touch.

I tried this patchwork and my Granddaughter who is 14 thought it would be perfect for her.

I also make little white 5 x 7 temple bags with an embellished initial on the front.  They are padded, lined and zippered.  They are about 15.00 plus shipping.

When you are trying to please people, there is always this challenge to give them exactly what they want, but you still have to be true to your own desires as a designer.  this was tough for me, but the girl who ordered it simply loves it.

She wanted her name in Japanese, an alien, and lots of cats.
Wow - that's a lot, but it was exactly what she wanted so....order filled!

This was fresh out of the hoop - I hadn't even cut the little jump strings - but just wanted
to make sure I got the scripture that Lynsie wanted for her bag - It turned out really cute.  I completely forgot to get pictures of the bag when we were done.  So she is going to take some for me.
Ths bag is very girly and appropriate for a college or high school girl.  I call it a Gingerbread bag because it is so full of design work.  I've never made a bag with flannel on the outside, but that is what she wanted.  She loves pink and yellow together so away we went!    There is a Tuscan L enhanced with floral and leaves on one side and a pink rose on the other.

This is another one I put together in just a couple of days so I could have one here at the house for a sample.  It has a peacock on the front with the inscription, "The Earth is full of God's glory..."

It is framed by material which has peacocks on it.  The accents of the bag are turquoise, lime, and cinnamon.  The lining and 2 9x9 pockets with zippers is Cinnamon velour with the 1/2" industrial lush batting.  I always create padded straps with a special fold over technique with 1" double-faced
satin ribbon hiding the seam.  It makes it so strong, it will last 10 years.
